We are currently seeking Demolition Operatives for contracts mainly in the Northwest but will also include contracts throughout the UK.

This role will involve periods of working away from home, accommodation will be provided by the company.

Work will involve the use of hand tools and powered equipment to strip out buildings and interiors/exteriors and also undertake hand demolition tasks.

Take instructions from the Demolition Manger.

Follow method statements and risk assessments to carry out tasks in a safe and compliant manner.

Follow company safety policy, rules and procedures.

Ability to identify risks and safety issues and report to the Demolition Manger should they arise.

The right candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and have 3 years’ experience as a minimum.

This is a full time position with salary negotiable depending upon experience. 

 

Role Insight:

Willing to work away from home essential.

Safe operation of all types of demolition equipment i.e abrasive wheels, hot works, hand tools, hand held power tools, breakers, drills, reciprocating saws etc.

Undertake basic daily/weekly maintenance checks to PPE/RPE/equipment.

Recording of daily/weekly maintenance checks.

Ensuring tools/equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition.

Compliance with company H&S policy and procedures

 

The following certificates would be required for the role:

CCDO in demolition operations

Asbestos Awareness and/or Cat B

Demolition Awareness

Face fit

Full UK Driving Licence
